Easter is a time for gathering with friends and family. When I was growing up- Easter was also when the pool opened (because summer in Texas begins in March)! I have such fond memories of Easter as a kid. We would go to our church friends’ home and everyone would bring a dish to share. There would be people outside and inside…everywhere! And then we would swim until it got dark. As teenagers and young adults, our Easter was a bit more quiet and elegant. My mom would set the table (she makes stunning tablecapes) and make a delicious Easter dinner. Today I am sharing some Easter ideas with you – eight absolutely beautiful Easter tables to inspire you this Easter season!

Maybe I’m just reminiscing of adult-only Easter dinner with fancy china and crystal glasses, but these eight Easter tables are just stunning. I am looking forward to the day when we can have glassware on the table, but with a three and five year old, we are all paper and plastic all the time.
So which one is your favorite? I truly love all of these and plan to some day create a beautiful Easter table like one of these.

This year we are going to my husband’s family’s house for a big ham dinner and an Easter egg hunt! With 12 kids under 12, it is so much fun to watch them run through the yard looking for eggs. Last year it was so warm and we were all in shorts. I am praying it is warm again this year.
I did put out my Cherry Blossom dishes and glasses this week. With so many friends from Texas here in Washington DC this week for spring break, I thought it would be festive to pull out my spring dishes. Some day when the boys are bigger, we will have a lovely Easter dinner with these beautiful dishes!
Hope you are enjoying decorating for spring! If you are looking for a simple Easter sign, I made this the other day.
Happy Easter Friend!
