My mother makes the most delicious cinnamon apple dip. Ever. This is a simple recipe that is quick and easy to make. Serve this in a large bowl with sliced apples at a party or make individual treats for friends. This cinnamon apple dip is a perfect gift for teachers, neighbors or co-workers. Only a few ingredients are needed to make this impressive sweet treat!
What you need:
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz)
1 Cup Butterscotch Flavored Chips (1/2 a bag)
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Apples
How to Make Cinnamon Apple Dip:
- Combine the condensed milk, butterscotch chips and salt in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir, then continue microwaving for an additional 15 – 30 seconds until the chips are melted (stirring will help melt the chips.)
- Add the vinegar and cinnamon and stir to completely combine.
- Serve with apple wedges.
Make It into a Gift:
Want to make this cinnamon apple dip for co-workers, teachers or neighbors? Pick up some 4oz jelly jars. These Ball jelly jars are what I use. For the recipe above, you should get 4-5 jars of the cinnamon dip. Purchase small “lunchbox” apples as well as these plastic bags. Place the jar in the bottom of the bag, and place the apple on top of the jar. Tie the bag with ribbon and maybe add a gift tag. Super simple gift!
I made this cinnamon apple dip for the employees at my kids’ pediatrician office. All the nurses went crazy over cinnamon apple dip. They loved the dip and were very impressed by the packaging. They had no idea it was so simple to make!! This is an easy homemade gift for those people in your life that you appreciate.
