School is starting soon which means in our house, it is time to start decorating for Halloween. If you are looking for DIY Halloween decorations, you have come to the right place! Today I am sharing some of my all-time favorite Halloween DIYs with you.
DIY Potion Bottles
These Harry Potter- inspired potion bottles are so simple to make and they are perfect for Halloween. I used empty glass condiment bottles, including an old syrup bottle. All you need is a glass bottle, some black paint, chalk paste and a stencil.
Start by painting the bottle. For this bottle, I actually watered down black chalk paste and used it as paint, but acrylic paint would work too. Next, I used copper chalk paste to give the bottle a distressed look. I simply applied it with my fingers. Finally, I used these Halloween stencils to create the designs on them with silver and black chalk paste.

Halloween Deco Mesh Wreath
Have you ever made a deco mesh wreath? I just started making them a year ago and I love how easy they are to create and customize. Here’s a full tutorial showing how I made this Halloween deco mesh wreath.
Halloween Tiered Tray
A great way to showcase all your DIY Halloween decorations is on a tiered tray. This galvanized tiered tray came from the craft store and I was able to use one of those 50% off coupons, making it super affordable. I love decorating it seasonally! For this Halloween tiered tray, I used small items like a coffee mug, wooden block, gift tag and a wooden pumpkin along with typical Halloween decorations like a skeleton, spider and foam pumpkins. Check out this video to see how I put it all together. These are the exact stencils I used.
