Looking for a fun kids craft for summer? I have you covered. This is actually a craft project and a game! Don’t you love how craft projects can be functional? Let’s jump right in.
Remember those memory games? You have a stack of cards and all the cards have one match, you place them all facedown on the table or floor and then turn one over at a time and try to find the match. That’s that I’m going to show you how to make with a crafty spin on it.
For this project, I am using Chalk Couture. If you don’t know about Chalk Couture, START HERE. Chalk Couture makes reusable stencils (called transfers). They also make removable chalk paste, permanent ink, surfaces and accessories to make up-scale DIY home decor.

What You Need
How To Make a Memory Game
For this project, you will only need 6 of the mini transfers, so pick your favorites! You will also need 6 different colors of paste. Right now, all of these items are included in our June Creative Kickstart Starter Kit which is priced at a lower rate ($59) than our regular starter kit!
This is a simple project that the kids can make. Simply peel the transfer from the backing, give it a quick fuzz on a towel, place it on the chalkable chip and apply chalk paste with a squeegee. Viola! It is THAT EASY!
Now the kids get to do a fun craft for summer AND have a game to keep them occupied. This is a great idea for grandparents who might be keeping little ones during summer vacation.
