Hey Hey!! It is SUMMER and that means decorating for the 4th of July! The 4th is my FAVORITE holiday and I absolutely love decorating with red, white and blue! Today I am sharing my favorite DIY Patriotic decor with you.
Have you heard of Chalk Couture? If not, START HERE. If you have, then you might recognize that everything I used to decorate my patriotic entryway was made with Chalk Couture. One of the easiest ways to make DIY Patriotic decor is to use reusable silk-screen transfers and chalk paste. I actually made most everything on this tiered tray in one day. Check out the video HERE.
The Uncle Sam Gnome is made from a wood block. He was so much fun to make. Check out the video tutorial here.

Are you crushing on those bead garlands all over Pinterest? I am too, that’s why I made my own bead garland just for the 4th of July! I added some cardboard star cutouts decorated with patriotic designs which was a perfect addition to my DIY patriotic decor in our entryway! Looking for an easy way to paint wooden beads? Check out this VIDEO!
If you are hosting friends and family for the 4th, you might want to have a game to play. This easy DIY Tic Tac Toe game is so easy to make and my kids absolutely LOVE playing it.
Don’t forget to dress the part! Making shirts is so easy with Chalk Couture Ink! Check out this video to see how easy this is! I made three shirts in less than 30 minutes.
Hope this inspires you to create some DIY patriotic decor!
