Hello there! Are you new to Chalk Couture ? Or possibly have never heard of it? If you have never heard of Chalk Couture. Start here! If you are a Chalk Couture beginner, I want to show you an easy project I did that is perfect for someone just starting out!
Have you heard the story of how I resisted Chalk Couture because I thought I had enough crafts in my life? It is true. I heard of Chalk Couture almost a year ago when they first started out. I sort of dismissed it because I craft so much with my Cricut machine and I didn’t think I wanted to get into something new. A few blogging friends got into it and started posting tutorials and videos on social media and I must say, it peaked my interest. Then my friend Gina reached out to me and told me she was sending me a sample kit because I just had to try it! Gina knows me well because the day I tried it, I signed up to be a Chalk Couture Independent Designer.
The Chalkology Chalk Paste is the coolest stuff ever. It’s not paint, but an actual chalk product. It is not permanent, but you can add a sealer to make it permanent. The consistency is like marshmallow fluff! You apply the paste over transfers that are silk screen using a little squeegee. Remove the transfer and you have a beautiful DIY!

One of the cool things about Chalk Couture transfers is that you can mix and match them. Use a part of one transfer and another part of a different transfer to make your own unique project. For this particular project I used a three-piece transfer and two colors. This is a great transfer for a beginner to start off with.
